Pomelo, the name of its fruit, can be easily obtained at fruit stalls or supermarkets here. It resembles a grapefruit except that pomelo is much bigger in size and some breeds can be very sweet. Some varieties have pink flesh. It is not true that the colour of the flesh reflects its sweetness. Unlike oranges, it is not possible to peel its skin by bare hands without the aid of a knife.
